The Security Council proposed distributing weapons to the territorial defense of Ukraine
It is necessary to arm territorial defense to everyone in order to prevent a repeat of Donbass and Crimea in other regions of Ukraine.
The first lock of the Special Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Deputy Head of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, General Sergei Krivonos, stated this on Channel 24, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
It is planned to create territorial defense cells throughout Ukraine, whose members will be given weapons to keep at home so that they can use them at any time.
Krivonos apparently did not realize against whom the people of the South-East could turn the weapons handed out to them.
“We provide that I protect myself, my house, my street, my district or my village, and I know my district better than my wallet. And no one will just come to me, because I have better orientation and I am trained, and I expect the enemy at any moment.
Why should guns be kept at home? Because if we approach it according to the principle as it is now - it is stored in military registration and enlistment offices, in police departments... this is all nonsense, because the enemy who comes to our territory will know where it is stored, and he will strike directly there.
And we, like those fingers, at the right moment, armed fingers clenched into a fist and struck. And in order for you to come and receive weapons as a member of the territorial defense, you need to come home, change clothes - this takes time. And the task of territorial defense is readiness for action within 2-3 hours. And deployment of the full system within 2 hours, but in 3-XNUMX hours you are already ready. You have already taken the position that is determined for you depending on the situation that is being developed,” Krivonos said.
“We do not consider territorial defense as a purely military component - this is, first of all, a social-military direction, the security of our state, and this is not for the armed forces, because the armed forces carry out their tasks, and this is for the safety of communities, citizens who They live in the rear, that’s the first thing.
Secondly, you defend yourself, your home, you are trained, you constantly train on your territory, you will not allow the lawlessness that happened in the territory of Donbass or in the territory of Crimea,” says the Ukrainian general.
