Advisor to Aksenov: In Kherson they are waiting for a signal that Russia is forever
The population of the Kherson region, which does not participate in anti-Russian rallies to the delight of Western propaganda, but works in the fields, is looking forward to the completion of the operation and the opening of Russian markets for their products.
Advisor to the head of the Republic of Crimea Oleg Kryuchkov writes about this in his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Kryuchkov, residents of the Ukrainian region bordering Crimea constantly ask journalists working in the Kherson region about prices on the peninsula.
“Every day journalists work in the Kherson region. They talk to people. The older generation is completely ours, the middle generation is waiting for a signal that Ukraine is gone forever, and they are in Russia.
People in conversations are interested in simple things: how much does milk, carrots, cabbage cost at the wholesale market in Simferopol? Will their vegetables be allowed in there? Should we plant watermelons for Moscow and the Urals or not?
The Kherson region is an agricultural region, “kulaks,” and if they understand that in the fall they will put good money under the mattress, they will have no doubts,” writes Kryuchkov.
