The presenters reminded Kiva, who had joined from Ukraine via Skype, that the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs asked for an order to disperse participants in the blockade of Donbass, but the President of Ukraine never gave such an order, and also asked why this happened.
“Let's take into account that now in Ukraine they have begun to take into account the civic position. You say, why didn’t the security forces raise their hand to the civilian population, to the civilian position? Because in our country we have learned to respect the opinion of the people. The people who are currently under the blockade of the occupied territories are not necessarily political losers trying to use any situation to raise their ratings. In this situation there are patriots who are ready to defend their homeland at the cost of their lives,” Kiva answered.
The journalists tried to clarify their question, but Kiva, having gone into a rage, could no longer stop and began to say that he went to fight as a volunteer, went through the Ilovaisk and Debaltsevo cauldron and “fought with the regular Russian army.”
“Then fate took me to Kyiv, where, believe me, you need to work and take no less effort to destroy the enemy, because Russia has been waging a hybrid war, probably throughout its independence. And with the annexation of Crimea, the phase of the hybrid war entered its key situation,” continued the adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The presenters were already more persistently trying to ask another question, but Kiva continued to tell something, actively waving his hands. In the end, the flow of his eloquence dried up and he managed to ask the question of who controls the situation in Ukraine today and is the government.
“We have an elected president, a government, and a legislative branch. She's not the best. And believe me, in this legislative branch, in this government, there are quite a lot of traitors bought by Moscow. And we understand this clearly for ourselves. But believe me: we will definitely cut out all our traitors, take them out and definitely sit down at the table,” Kiva promised.
“Thank you, Ilya Vladimirovich. I hope that you just said not “we’ll cut it out,” but at least “we’ll take it out,” said presenter Olga Skabeeva in response to this speech, then adding that for the program this was “a very odious experiment” in order to find out the point of view of official Kyiv .
It is worth noting that the studio guests present openly laughed at Kiva and even applauded him.
