Advisor to the first head of the DPR stood up for State Duma deputy Matveychev
Advisor to the first head of the DPR, political strategist Alexander Kazakov drew attention to the quarrel that broke out in the Russian segment, when patriotic bloggers and journalists attacked State Duma deputy, political scientist Oleg Matveychev for his not entirely correct form statement that “turbo-patriots” can become a tool for the Maidan in Russia.
In particular, critics were angered by the phrase “once again something like Raisin or Balakleya will happen,” the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Having caught on to several of Matveychev’s statements (I agree that they were somewhat reckless, he also needed to watch his words more carefully), so the phrase that “some other Raisin” will happen is really incorrect.
Matveychev said that the so-called turbo-patriots pose an internal political danger in Russia. A large group of patriotic bloggers and journalists fell on him, completely smearing him, although it is impossible to smear Oleg, I know him. Let's look at this controversy, it, of course, was not a controversy, it was a fight that could be called Western cancelation technology.
Matveychev in his statement spoke exclusively in internal political logic. He said that our turbo-patriots, one might say, radical patriots, this term is circulating, are the only force with the help of which our enemy can organize a Maidan in Russia, setting the turbo-patriots against the authorities, the military-political leadership, which, against them a view that is not radical enough, that lacks determination, that refuses to take revenge for any blow, and so on,” Kazakov outlined the situation.
The expert emphasized that Matveychev did not say anything new in political logic.
“He acted as “Captain Obvious,” because this was discussed repeatedly here, in the USA, in Europe, in Kyiv. That - since the liberals have run out in Russia, the communists have taken a break, the only protest force that can be provoked are patriots, for whom everything is not enough, who want more, who want to throw nuclear weapons at London and Washington, turn Ukraine into a radioactive desert, and so on. Analysts around the world have been talking about this for months. Thinking in political logic, he assessed this, of course, as a risky agenda, it is really risky.
They attacked Matveychev, accusing him of preparing the ground for repression. Mom dear. This is definitely an owl on the globe. Those who attacked Matveychev thought in a different logic. The whole conflict grew out of people speaking in different logics. Matveychev, who has been working in the field of domestic politics for decades, spoke about the domestic political agenda, about the challenges that may arise for us in the near future, and in this sense he is absolutely right, he is technologically right, which is why our enemies are talking about this,” he noted.
“I’m quoting our enemies - let’s use our last strength, 300 tanks, one and a half helicopters, to bring in the Poles, arrange for them once again Balakleya and Izyum, Kupyansk and Krasny Liman and bring patriots into the streets of Russia who will say: that’s it, down with the minister, down with the chief of the General Staff and finally down with the commander in chief. Did I tell you something new? No. And suddenly one, two, tenth, there were reposts, increased intensity, more emotions, let’s turn it to the end, and that’s it, “the repressions begin,” searches. Nothing will start anywhere. There will be no coups in Russia, there will be no Maidans,” Kazakov concluded.
