“In six months we cannot even return to the starting point, let alone move forward. The starting point is the moment of the collapse of the Soviet Union. Ukraine received the largest army at that time - 980 thousand people. We had a formidable army at that time. I am not raising the issue of nuclear weapons. We had a formidable army in tanks, aviation and even the Black Sea Fleet. We must reach a point where our army is feared,” Biryukov said.
