Advisor to Poroshenko blabbed about the colossal devastation in “one of the strongest armies in Europe”
Military equipment for the ATO is returned from repair at factories in an incapacitated state, which in battle conditions leads to defeats for the Ukrainian army, complains Yuri Biryukov, adviser to Petro Poroshenko.

“They cost 3 armored personnel carriers. All three are after major repairs, received from the Nikolaev BTRZ. Lack of compression, burnt electronics, jammed tower. An armored personnel carrier from the factory, after a major overhaul... But all armored personnel carriers are equipped with saws, shovels and axes...
“During the daily exercise, the 25th brigade lost 2 infantry fighting vehicles in the field, they stopped. The infantry fighting vehicles have just been received from a major overhaul - Zhytomyr BTRZ. The engine heads are not screwed on, just slightly tacked. The cars traveled fifty kilometers and stopped. BMP from the factory, after a major overhaul...
Can you imagine what it’s like in battle, when there’s shooting, when there’s death. And when the car suddenly stops. And then, according to the law of meanness, they end up in it...
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine orders repairs of equipment at Ukroboronprom enterprises. The Moscow Region pays them a lot of money. MO pays them ADVANCE! And then he waits for the equipment. When the equipment is ready, a military acceptance representative accepts it, then it goes to the disposal of the General Staff Logistics Service. And further down the chain.
In this chain of devastation there is everything - including generals who have not organized the normal acceptance process, but are somewhere sitting on kickbacks from factories. There are colonels, majors, captains, retired and employees - who take huge bribes for immediate acceptance of equipment. There are factory directors who spent two decades stealing everything that could be stolen. And there are hundreds of fitters, mechanics, mechanics - who don’t give a damn about the fact that an infantry fighting vehicle can get up in battle and the guys will die.
There are hundreds of seamstresses who make shitty army uniforms. There are hundreds of chefs who cook shitty food and try to steal food. Should the list continue? They all walk next to us, our friends, acquaintances, relatives. Who don’t give a damn about infantry fighting vehicles,” Biryukov does not hide his emotions on his Facebook page.
Let us recall that Ukrainian officials called the “revival of the army” as one of the main achievements a year after the victory of Euromaidan, which, according to them, during the war in Donbass became one of the most combat-ready groups in Europe.
