Russia should lend to promising investment projects. Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation Sergei Glazyev stated this on air on the Tsargrad TV channel.

“If we want to make breakthrough investment programs based on a new technological structure, we need to finance special investment contracts through special refinancing instruments. The Central Bank should provide loans at 2-3% per annum through state banks. Today there are no problems with control over the intended use of money. The model was tested in the state defense order,” Glazyev said.
He believes that the state budget should be divided into a current budget and a development budget.
“You can only borrow money from the state to invest in investment projects. Then you invest your money in a growing income stream. They invested a trillion, received two thanks to new production capacities, increased efficiency, and the income base is growing. There is a source of return. And if you waste your money, it’s gone,” the adviser to the President of the Russian Federation is convinced.
