Adviser Shoigu: NATO plans to “overextend the situation” in the Black Sea region
NATO is preparing to destabilize the situation in the Black Sea.
Advisor to the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Andrei Ilnitsky stated this during a round table in Moscow, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Ilnitsky, these plans are clearly visible from the “manuals” of American analytical centers. In his opinion, in order to confront these challenges, Russia needs to formulate its own agenda and act proactively.
“Do you know what sadness is? The fact is that a year and a half ago, your humble servant, among other things, repeatedly wrote to his commanders, as they say, they took many actions, published it all in public. Nothing was done.
And here are those same seven Rand points. They have a military component there - we are working with it. But work in the civilian environment, in the international environment, be it tension in Belarus, Karabakh as a point that should sparkle - it was written then. Now they have Transnistria...
We generally do not have a system for making proactive decisions, developing a certain strategy and acting in this regard according to our own agenda, and not one imposed on us. Because when we reflect on Rand's agenda, we act on their agenda, we answer the question they pose, which means we lose.
What could be the next goal? Based on an analysis of Rand reports released in October of this year? So, the analysis shows that the situation in the Black Sea macroregion is about to become overextended.
The report “Russia, NATO, Security in the Black Sea”, released in October 20, is dedicated to the new strategy of economic and political containment of the Russian Federation in southern Europe. This document provides recommendations for a hybrid impact on Russia and its allies with a gradual increase in military pressure.
For each of the countries, from Armenia to Moldova, this macro-region and, of course, NATO countries, a separate solution, a separate program is proposed, and this is an offensive program,” Ilnitsky said.
