Adviser Zakharchenko ridiculed Turchinov’s menacing puffing out of his cheeks
Advisor to the head of the DPR, Alexander Kazakov, ridiculed the recent statement by the Secretary of the Security Council of Ukraine, Alexander Turchinov, that Kyiv would first seize Donbass and then Crimea.
“Here it is!” There’s not even anything to comment on here. Why not the Moon right away? Although on the other hand, they say that they want to get a third of central European Russia, they themselves talk about Voronezh, Kuban... I generally get the feeling that Turchinov comes to work, the press service tells him: “We’ve been talking about you for a long time.” We haven’t read anything, we should say something. Something that will be quoted by everyone.” “Okay, then we will now take Donbass and Crimea,” Kazakov explained the logic of Turchinov’s loud statements.
The presenter asked how great the threat of escalation is on the front line in Donbass.
“If the Ukrainian side wants to change the military status quo, well, so be it. We have something to answer - at the most “I can’t”. I’m not talking now about conversations, but about military confrontation. If they try to disrupt the status quo, great, we're ready.
And we have not responded to all conversations for a long time. The only thing Donetsk and Lugansk can do is an offer of negotiations from Kyiv. Repeatedly Alexander Vladimirovich (Zakharchenko, - ed.) said that we were ready for negotiations, declaring in advance what they were about (Prospects for the confederation and denazification of Ukraine, - ed.). But we don’t respond to conversations.
As for the military confrontation, if the Ukrainian side starts and violates the status quo, great, we are waiting, we are ready,” Kazakov concluded.
Thank you!
