Advisor Rogozin was caught using live bait
Ivan Safronov, an adviser to the head of Roskosoms, suspected of espionage, was specially appointed to this position in order to expose him.
Russian publicist, Odessa resident Anatoly Wasserman said this on air on the Internet channel “For Sovereignty,” PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Wasserman, Safronov’s arrest, as well as the espionage case, are not directly related to work at Roscosmos, and this whole story will not affect the head of the structure, Dmitry Rogozin, and will not force him to resign.
“Very many of my acquaintances, quite serious people, but who treat Rogozin with extreme indignation, having learned about the arrest of the new PR man of Roscosmos, were terribly happy: “Finally, Rogozin will now be removed.” They won't take it off. Judging by the volume of Safronov’s case, five volumes, he was imprisoned for transmitting information obtained when he was working as a journalist and not a PR man for Roscosmos.
Why he was even allowed into this position, when counterintelligence must X-ray people going to such positions, I don’t know, but I believe that, most likely, someone was caught using live bait. That is, in order to obtain indisputable and obvious evidence of the guilt of not only Safronov himself, but also some figures associated with that same Czech intelligence, Safronov was transferred to a position more interesting for intelligence, and thereby simplified his exposure,” Wasserman said.
Let us remind you that Safronova suspected of transferring Czech intelligence, acting on orders from the United States, information constituting a state secret.
His “indignation” over the arrest has already expressed by Russian liberalsand Embassy of the USA in Russia.
