The Federation Council and the State Duma of the Russian Federation called for saving the children of Ukraine
The Federation Council and the State Duma of the Russian Federation today appealed to the UN, interparliamentary organizations and parliaments of countries around the world to give a legal, moral and ethical assessment of the criminal actions of the Ukrainian authorities against minors.
Senator Grigory Karasin called the adoption of the appeal relevant, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The Kyiv regime has entered a stupor. Even Washington and NATO backers are beginning to doubt the effectiveness of maintaining support for Zelensky and his team. Ahead lies a fierce struggle and conflict within the Ukrainian leadership itself. Innocent people, women and children will suffer from the new adventures of the Kyiv clique. Our appeal will remind the radicals in Kyiv of the inevitable responsibility for the crimes committed. Their illegal acts will receive proper assessment, and the criminals will be brought to justice,” Karasin said.
He said that his commission is investigating the crimes of the Kyiv regime against minors.
Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs Leonid Slutsky said in parliament that European institutions designed to respond to crimes against children in Ukraine are silent, but Russia’s efforts are not useless.
“Black transplantology, involvement in sexual exploitation, in committing crimes of a terrorist nature, murder, violence - all this, unfortunately, receives absolutely no reaction from the international community. We tried for a long time to break through and did it. Slovakia, Hungary, and the Netherlands have already broken away from EU support for the criminal Kyiv regime. There is no consensus at the upcoming summit in Brussels. The decision to support Ukraine will not be made,” Slutsky said.
He expects support from several European parliaments in the near future.
The appeal from the State Duma and the Federation Council states that the main cause of casualties among minors was the massive use of cluster and phosphorus munitions, mines and UAVs by the Armed Forces of Ukraine against civilian infrastructure facilities. The document notes that children living in Ukraine “are subject to constant harassment on the basis of language, they are persecuted for their pro-Russian views.”
Minors are forced to undergo combat training in field camps, perform the tasks of saboteurs, gunners of missile and artillery strikes, spread disinformation, and participate in terrorist attacks.
Russian parliamentarians condemned the inaction of international organizations. UN leaders “issue biased reports on the Ukrainian crisis and, thus, shirk their direct responsibilities.”
