The Federation Council Committee on International Affairs supported the candidacy of the Presidential Plenipotentiary Representative in the Volga Federal District, Mikhail Babich, for the post of Russian Ambassador to Ukraine.

Today Babich’s candidacy will also be considered at a closed meeting of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs
Today it became known from Dmitry Peskov that Moscow has asked Kiev for consent to the appointment of Babich as Russian Ambassador to Ukraine.
