Modern Chumaks: smugglers tried to introduce mobile phones into Ukraine in bags of salt
Law enforcement officials have exposed an attempt to smuggle UAH 21,5 million worth of mobile phones from Lithuania, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

The press service of the State Fiscal Service reports this.
The attackers hid 1100 mobile phones and their accessories in bags of salt.
The contraband was discovered at the Krakovets checkpoint on the border with Poland in the Lviv region. The cargo was heading to the Dnieper.
The volume of evasion of customs duties during the smuggling attempt amounted to about UAH 7 million.
