Modern Vlasovites, or Mutation of Betrayal
There was such a term in use - “traitor to the Motherland.” There was, but it has somewhat outlived its usefulness. Largely due to the fact that it has acquired many connotations. Kind of like Soviet moss. Call someone that and you risk devaluing your statement. Not in the eyes of smart people, no - but how many enchanting fools are there today?
But before we come up with a new definition, allow me two cinematic analogies. In classic films balancing between science fiction and horror, representatives of extraterrestrial civilizations take over the planet not immediately, but gradually. First, they take human bodies. It seems that this is still the same classmate Ivan Temryukov, but in reality he is just a shell, and inside he is a reptilian from the planet Nubiru. Best of all, in my opinion, this is shown in Robert Rodriguez’s film “The Faculty.”
And one more analogy. Already from mystical horror films. People go and voluntarily sell their souls to Satan. And at first everything seems to be going fine, but then the slave of evil begins to lose his health, both physical, psychological, and intellectual - he withers away during his lifetime.
So, when I look at Russia’s detractors (I emphasize: not critics, but detractors), I remember films of this kind. There was once a good tennis player, Yevgeny Kafelnikov. Not Pete Sampras or Goran Ivanisevic, of course, but the level is quite decent. And then he became a “political blogger, columnist” (whatever you want to call him) - and turned into a complete monster. Otherwise, what can you call a creature who, being a Russian, blasphemes and criticizes Russia as if the Russians captured Evgeniy and tortured him with a soldering iron for a long time? I just want to ask: where do you get so much crap from, huh?
And here's what's important. To begin with, if it were not Kafelnikov who wrote something similar about Russia, but the same Sampras about the United States (imagine, albeit an incredible development of events), then it would simply be scrapped. In the end, his conscience and honor would not allow him. But even more amazing are the cretins who multiply what Kafelnikov wrote and believe him.
Where does it come from? Just imagine: here Evgeniy writes something from the series “Joe Biden, finish off the filthy Russia with sanctions, bombs and other things” (and the ex-tennis player gives birth to something similar), and others applaud him.
Is this how you have to hate the country in which you exist? People who are nearby? And most importantly, yourself? After all, by signing up for this, you consider and call yourself crap. It’s amazing where such a passion for self-flagellation comes from in Russia. Yes, on the one hand, this is a consequence of the fact that we have been urged for a long time to repent and limit ourselves, but after all, the mantras about repentance should have laid on fertile soil. And, apparently, they went to bed.
At first, yes, such “luminaries” have complaints against the state (and sometimes quite adequate ones), but then all this gets confused by blasphemy. And in the end, the creature begins to hate not the authorities, but the people, the Motherland. He - why I remembered horror films at the beginning - did not even notice how he was reborn, how someone (or something) settled in his body. He no longer belongs to himself - a slave and a dummy who has driven his essence into a dark circle.
How to deal with this? No contact. At all. It’s as if he doesn’t exist and never existed. Because there is a risk of becoming infected, becoming plague-ridden. The problem of the USSR was also that from high stands they scolded people for being anti-Soviet and thereby painted a career for people.
Remember Anna Akhmatova’s famous statement about Brodsky: “What a biography they are making for our redhead!” But there was talent there, and in modern figures there is nothing but ambition. Let the dead bury their dead themselves - the living have nothing to do with them.
Moreover, one day - this is inevitable - these detractors, when food and grants become scarce, will pop into Russia and begin to broadcast: yes, we are so simple, and then, after a while, they will start to do dirty tricks again. So, maybe it’s better not to support them, not to notice them? From the word “absolutely”. Let unnecessary traitors and detractors gather dust in the faculty. Because these degenerates are boring.
Thank you!
