"Union of Donbass Volunteers" confirmed the possibility of suppressing the Maidan in Moscow
In the event of an attempt to carry out a coup d'etat during liberal protests in Moscow, Russian volunteers who fought in Donbass will defend their state and harshly suppress the unrest.
The head of the Union of Donbass Volunteers, the first chairman of the Council of Ministers of the DPR, Alexander Borodai, stated this in an interview with Anna News, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There is such an opportunity. What is it due to? Only one. We understand that we have a serious professional opponent, and at some point it may suddenly happen that the authorities will not control the situation.
What will this mean? This will mean that the current protesters, Protestants and all other wonderful people who go to rallies will go beyond the legal situation. This will mean that the government will either collapse or begin to collapse, and will mean that the current constitutional order will cease to exist in Russia, a revolution and, in fact, a civil war will begin.
Then, of course, we have the right to “enter the game.” Now you have no right. I hope nothing like this will happen in the near future.
But, unfortunately, we cannot exclude very negative possibilities for us that we will have to enter into this story. We must proceed from the fact that worse scenarios are possible, not only best, but also worst-case scenarios for the development of events, so we are not able to exclude this.
Then the boys in pink and blue pants who go to rallies need to be very worried about their own safety. We are not the police, we will not beat anyone with batons, and now we are in no way ready to act as titushki. We are not police assistants, but if a situation arises in which law and legality do not apply, then we will consider that our hands are untied, and we will treat those who are plunging Russia into the abyss of civil war, as enemies, as used to doing.
We will not somehow put pressure on them or try to re-educate them, we will deal with them as we are accustomed to deal with our opponents, and then they should take care, worry about their own lives and think that their real leaders will not be held accountable, unfortunately,” Borodai said.
At the same time, he noted that the organization will not take sides and disperse protesters while law enforcement agencies control the situation in the Russian capital.
“We are a public organization and, accordingly, while the situation is in the legal, legal, constitutional field, we cannot participate in these processes in any way.
Naturally, no government officials approached me with such proposals as the head of the Union of Donbass Volunteers. They cannot apply, especially since today the situation is completely controlled by both law enforcement agencies and special services of the Russian Federation, and God forbid that it remains so,” summed up the former head of the DPR government.
