The Union of Officers of Ukraine accuses Poroshenko of “negotiating” with the militias
Kyiv, July 14 (Navigator, Kirill Boyarin) - The head of the Union of Officers of Ukraine, retired captain 1st rank Yevgeny Lupakov, sharply criticized the country's leadership for providing the opportunity for the unimpeded retreat of pro-Russian rebels from Slavyansk.
He stated this on air on the ICTV channel.
“From Slavyansk to Donetsk 120 km. Therefore, a logical question arises: how could the terrorist column overcome this distance without obstacles? And also, without any problems, enter the regional center,” note the authors of the story.

“This is now to justify one’s own inactivity, or betrayal, or negotiating with the separatists, or God knows what!” - said Lupakov.
“The agreement on the surrender of Slavyansk could be beneficial for the Ukrainian authorities. This gave two trump cards at once - control over a larger territory, which is clearly visible on the map, plus the capture of the main symbol of separatism in Ukraine. But in fact, such a maneuver worsened the situation. Now the main base of the separatists is the capital of Donbass, and recapturing a captured regional center with a population of one million is much more difficult than small Slavyansk,” comments ICTV.
“Try to knock them out now,” Lupakov complains.
