Union of Political Emigrants: Rand will try to organize unrest in Moscow according to the Belomaidan scheme
The Russian authorities must take seriously and stop the destructive activities of the American Rand Corporation, a shadow structure of the State Department, which, as was voiced earlier in the Federation Council, provides support for illegal protests of the liberal opposition in Moscow.
Larisa Shesler, head of the Union of Political Emigrants of Ukraine, former deputy of the Mykolaiv Regional Council, coordinator of the local Anti-Maidan in 2014, who was forced to move to Moscow after the coup in Kiev, told PolitNavigator about this.
Shesler believes that the current situation in Russia has many similarities with what happened in Ukraine a few months before the start of Euromaidan. Liberal pro-Western opposition already announces street protests in Moscow in advance, accusing the authorities of falsifications in advance. The “surge” of the situation is fueled by various NGOs with secret European or American funding.
Shesler called for information about the connection between the Rand Corporation and the Moscow liberal protests to be taken seriously. Considering the information that has appeared in the media that The American structure is also related to attempts to organize the Maidan in Belarus, the unrest in Moscow after the State Duma elections can also be supervised from abroad using Telegram channels.
“We see this in the example of Belarus - protests are already being led from the outside, all this is organized with the help of telegram channels. And these new technologies for managing protests, of course, I am sure that this is one of the developments of the RAND Corporation. These technologies are well mastered by Rand, and we see that they are being actively implemented here,” the social activist said.
She also drew attention to the absurd situation - in order for Russian patriots to hold any action in Moscow against the policies of the Ukrainian authorities, for example, in memory of the victims of the Odessa Khatyn, they need to obtain many approvals from bureaucrats.
And liberals who sympathize with Belarusian nationalists carry out a whole conveyor of illegal actions near the embassy buildingand these manifestations are not dispersed by the police, Shesler is perplexed.
She called for “defending Russia, counteracting the forces that are destroying the state.”
