Allies of the Mejlis on Maidan call on the EU to beat the Kremlin with a stick
The European Union must under no circumstances weaken sanctions against Russia. Vasil Netsko (Democratic Choice party) stated this in Kyiv on the Maidan at a rally in support of the Majlis banned in the Russian Federation.

“The Kremlin regime is a redneck on a global scale, it does not understand anything except a position of strength, except a stick. Therefore, when European politicians say that sanctions against Russia will be eased due to progress and some kind of success in implementing the Minsk agreements, this is complete nonsense. The Minsk agreements and Crimea cannot be considered separately. All this is the sovereignty of one state,” said the Ukrainian nationalist.
