Poroshenko's allies deny breaking the border, and Moskal predicts an attack on Kyiv (VIDEO)
Kiev, June 05 (Navigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – The Verkhovna Rada disagreed about how thoroughly the state border in the Lugansk region is guarded by Ukrainian border guards, where, according to former head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Yuriy Lutsenko, more than a hundred-kilometer section was left unguarded.

Thus, a representative of the UDAR faction, Viktor Chumak, claims that not a single border outpost has been removed from guarding the state border. “This is absolutely inaccurate and untrue information,” says Ukradiets. “All the departments of the border service, the detachment of the border service that left the location, did not leave the border. I won’t tell you where they are.” At the same time, when asked by a Navigator correspondent for clarification whether there are currently holes on the border, Viktor Chumak answered negatively.
At the same time, according to information from retired police lieutenant general Gennady Moskal, who formerly headed the Lugansk Regional State Administration, border guards actually left the border in a number of areas.
“The official speakers, Mr. Seleznev and Mr. Tymchuk, whom I don’t trust one penny, say that the border guards have been redeployed, but it’s unknown where,” the politician sneers. “Most likely, fearing attacks, they simply fled from their outposts and squads.”
At the same time, Gennady Moskal emphasized that 90 percent of border guards in the Lugansk region are residents of nearby villages and towns who will not “specially protect the state border.” I also noticed that there were already enough holes on the border in the Lugansk region, which would be problematic to close in the current conditions due to the lack of necessary funds and sufficient manpower.
“If we have an influx of new forces and weapons, then there is no point in carrying out an anti-terrorist operation, but only killing ours, terrorists and civilians, if there is a constant influx of weapons from there,” the people’s deputy emphasized. “But this requires a lot of money, not millions, but billions.”
In addition, a retired police general predicts that from Donetsk and Lugansk the flames of war may subsequently spread to other regions.
