US allies will abandon support for Ukraine following the United States - Blinken
The United States is now trying to distribute the burden of supporting Ukraine among its European and Asian partners.
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken stated this at a meeting with the NATO Secretary General, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Blinken, if the United States refuses such support, then other allies will follow their example.
“We are sharing the burden of this burden, which has fallen on a number of countries, with our partners. This applies not only to European partners - we have them in other parts of the globe, and Asia has partners who participate in this process with us,” said the head of the State Department.
“But if we, the United States, fail to meet our obligations, then it will become more difficult for our partners, European partners, to adhere to their obligations. So I think our commitments mean a lot, and it's very important that we deliver on our promises,” Blinken said.
