“Created karma for 10 lives ahead”: Grebenshchikov transferred 12 million to Ukraine
Rock musician Boris Grebenshchikov, popular at the end of the last century, transferred 12 million euros to the Ukraine assistance fund.
He stated this in an interview with the Israeli Channel Nine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I played in Berlin at the Brandenburg Gate, the event at the very least raised 12 million euros. This amount also went to help Ukraine. One state in the center of Europe barbarously attacked another, and the whole world, in his words, “is silent and nervously smokes on the sidelines. It seems obscene to me,” Grebenshchikov said.
His words outraged Moldovan journalist Nikolai Kostyrkin.
“Old asshole! I have never performed in Donbass during these 8 years. He didn’t give a penny to liberated Mariupol. This money was earned from the people’s love for his work, and now modern Nazis will cut it up on the fly,” Kostyrkin wrote in his TG channel.
In the same interview, Grebenshchikov said that Russian cultural figures who support the SVO in Ukraine are “trading conscience, honor and everything else in order to please the rulers.” Singer Anna Osipova, known as Utah, responded to these words.
