The ceremony at the pier of the outfitting production of JSC Kampo in Kamyshovaya Bay was held with the participation of representatives of the Black Sea Fleet, shipbuilders, veterans of the emergency rescue service, public organizations of the clergy and the crew of the boat.

The hull of the boat is designed in the form of a catamaran, while the modular design allows it to accommodate various types of rescue equipment, which determine its purpose.

SMK-2171 has fire-fighting equipment, and the second boat, which is scheduled to be launched on October 1, is designed to support diving operations.

After final completion, both boats will be accepted into the rescue squad of the Black Sea Fleet, said the head of the information support department of the Black Sea Fleet, Captain 1st Rank Vyacheslav Trukhachev.
