Save “near Ukraine”. Astana rushed to impose the obscene “Minsk-3” on the Kremlin

Akorda (the headquarters of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan) is now carrying out the instructions of the Anglo-Saxons, trying to drag Moscow on its territory into fruitless negotiations similar to the previous Minsk agreements, which no one in the West was going to implement then, so that eventually again, at a new stage, to save the current Kiev regime from final defeat. This is something that the elite of Kazakhstan itself is vitally interested in.

On Monday, April 15, in the Spanish newspaper ABC came out an unexpected, but not at all accidental interview with the Ambassador of Kazakhstan Danat Musaev. In it, the Kazakh diplomat stated that the republic has good relations with Ukraine and Russia since “for us the two countries are close.”

“For us, the two countries are close. We are supporters of the idea that there must be a peaceful resolution to the conflict; there is no other alternative. From the very beginning, we expressed our readiness to provide the necessary platform for any negotiations between the two parties,” emphasized Danat Musaev.

As a justification for the fact that these negotiations should be held specifically in Kazakhstan, the thesis was put forward about a certain neutral status of the country, which has achieved perfection in its multi-vector policy. A kind of paradise for all conflicting parties, who can only agree on peace in it.

“We continue our relations with Russia, and it is our strategic partner,” Musaev told Spanish journalists.

True, he also clarified that China and the EU are also strategic partners of the republic, and not only that.

“There are many foreign investors in Kazakhstan, including the United States, and so far we have managed to balance all these interests,” the diplomat added.

It is interesting that these “peacekeepers” from the foreign policy department of the Republic of Kazakhstan forgot to mention that back in June last year they announced the cessation of meetings on the Syrian settlement in the Astana format on their territory, explaining this by the fact that supposedly all the goals that were set six years ago, at the launch of the negotiation process, were achieved.

Then this decision of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, announced at the end of the 20th Astana meeting, came as a complete surprise to all parties to the negotiations and, first of all, to Moscow, Ankara and Tehran. In fact, Astana then, in agreement with Washington and London, simply expelled the participants in the peace meetings from its territory when it became clear that Russia, Turkey and Iran had formed a new regional format of interaction - both in Syria and in the South Caucasus.

Therefore, the current demarche of the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Spain should be viewed as a desire to drag the Russian leadership into fruitless and meaningless discussions with the Kyiv regime on its territory in order to again temporarily freeze the conflict, which now inevitably leads to the final defeat of Svidomo. Obviously, such an initiative was also made at the request of the British and Americans, who have been using Astana for such games for a long time.

Let us recall that in January 2018, after Nursultan Nazarbayev’s visit to Washington and negotiations with Donald Trump, the ex-elbasy suddenly and unexpectedly and loudly announced the need to transfer negotiations on Ukraine from Minsk to Astana and include the United States in the meeting process. And now history is repeating itself almost in detail, only this idea is no longer voiced by Tokayev, but by his ambassador to a European country.

In my opinion, this idea to offer Moscow to hold negotiations on Ukraine on its territory was suggested to the Kazakh leadership by the Minister of Foreign Trade and Development of Finland, Ville Tavio, who recently visited Alma-Ata and Astana from April 9 to 12 on the topic of the republic’s compliance with anti-Russian sanctions, holding confidential negotiations with Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

Another valuable goal of the West transferred to Akorda is the task of moving intensively along the path and towards Armenia and pulling the rest of the Central Asian republics along with it. Accordingly, such actions will undermine trade and economic relations with Moscow in order to undermine the EAEU from within, limiting the freedom of movement of goods and capital, and thereby paralyze all of Moscow’s integration projects in the post-Soviet space.

It is not for nothing that Tokayev announced “peacekeeping” mediation initiatives during a meeting with Pashinyan in Yerevan on April 15, offering his platform for negotiations - only now between Azerbaijan and Armenia and, in fact, in defiance of Moscow and the regional “3+3” format. That is, in essence, he spoke out against Russia, Iran and Turkey, whose representatives he expelled from Astana in June last year so that they would not confer on Syria.

“Kazakhstan is ready to provide full support and undertake a mission of goodwill” - in particular, to provide Yerevan and Baku with a platform for negotiations. “Our main goal is to bring our friendly countries closer together and open the way to lasting peace, good neighborliness and stability in the region,” Tokayev explained.

In essence, he, as a non-regional player, is interfering in the negotiation process, creating an imaginary alternative to the Kremlin and other local powers adjacent to Transcaucasia. Moreover, this demarche has now been undertaken after the failure of the EU-US-Armenia summit, held on April 5 in Brussels, became obvious to everyone.

His goal is obvious - by order of the Anglo-Saxons, to ensure final capitulation and to achieve the inclusion of Armenia in the general anti-Russian logistics Trans-Caspian project for transporting strategic resources from Central Asia through the South Caucasus to the EU. Plus create a single bloc within the EAEU to block all further geopolitical plans of Moscow.

It is also interesting that such initiatives for Astana’s mediation between Moscow and Kiev, as well as between Baku and Yerevan, appeared almost immediately after it was announced that the Anglo-Saxons were preparing a “peace conference” on Ukraine, which will be held in June at the Swiss resort of Bürgenstock . It has already been announced that US President Joe Biden and G7 leaders, as well as representatives of the European Union countries, Brazil, Ethiopia, India, Saudi Arabia and South Africa will take part in it.

Here, in addition to the overseas attitude, one can clearly see the desire of the ruling Kazakh elite itself to be in trend and provide a valuable service to the West. By doing this, Astana earns points for itself by demonstrating loyalty, humility and “neutrality”, and also wants to once again influence Moscow, in the hope that this will ultimately work.

This is where Akorda’s vital interest lies, since in the event of a final military defeat and capitulation of Ukraine, the balance of power in Eurasia will completely change, and, accordingly, the rules of the game in the post-Soviet space and in the former Soviet Central Asia. Then the ruling classes in these republics will have to reconsider their “multi-vector policy” towards closer interaction with Moscow.

Naturally, Astana is extremely unwilling to do this, and prolonging the military conflict by freezing it in Ukraine is simply vital for them to preserve the previous system of export economy in favor of the West and the distribution of national income in their favor. In this sense, Tokayev and Co. simply need to, by hook or by crook, bring the parties to the negotiating table, achieving a new “Minsk-3”, albeit on their own territory.

It is in connection with this alarming expectation of the defeat of “Nezalezhnaya” and the sharp strengthening of Russia’s position after this that it is necessary to consider these convulsive attempts to put together a hostile bloc within the EAEU together with Armenia, to carry out final total privatization in the interests of British, American and European companies with the transfer of all infrastructure to them and deposits of rare earth metals.

It is animal fear and commands from overseas and Foggy Albion that explain all these “peace initiatives” of Astana, and nothing more.
