Save Zelensky from a coup. SBU gathers loyal ATO officers
Funnier than the Svidomites' debate about which of them is the more useful patriot can only be their squabbles over which of them are more correct ATO (JFO) veterans.
On November 28, the so-called Congress of Veteran Organizations of Ukraine was held in the Kharkov Palace “Ukraine”. The appearance in the leadership of the newly minted veteran community of such a character as Oleg Cherkashin (call sign “Spaniard”) caused a stormy reaction, especially in the “brown” radical environment of ATO officers. The “Spaniard” is rudely sneezed at on Svidomo public pages. The congress itself is also ridiculed.
Moreover, the new structure is accused of loyalism by precisely those radicals who until recently regularly carried out the commands of Zelensky’s office. It’s just that while Avakov was the Minister of Internal Affairs, the militants of the National Corps loyally served the authorities, who needed their services to suppress opposition sentiments.
As soon as the wind changed and Avakov donned Akhmetov’s armor, the servility of the “Azovites” dissipated. Biletsky turned on the bullshit against Zelensky and began making accusatory speeches on Akhmetov’s channel.
The authorities urgently needed to mobilize “their” veterans.
The releases of the congress stated that the event was attended by representatives of veterans' organizations from almost all regions of Ukraine. The head of the SBU department in the Kharkov region, Roman Dudin, who sits on the presidium, transparently hints at who the real initiators and organizers of this “noble meeting” are.
The authorities are checking the ranks of ATO participants who are ready to support it or at least not participate in actions to overthrow it.
Judging by the speeches that were made at the congress, this casting of veterans who wanted to feed from the hand of the President's Office was organized hastily. The SBU sang to the Ermaks and Podolyans: “I made him out of what I had.” It turned out as always when they mold a bullet out of shit.
From the rostrum of the congress, Oleg Cherkashin hurt many Svidomo, accusing them of cowardice:
“We all remember '14. We all remember how we ran around in embroidered shirts and shouted slogans. But then we didn’t see these people at the front. Am I lying? I'm not lying. They continued to run around Kyiv. We went, became our breasts, protected. Our brothers-in-arms were dying. And now, when such a threat looms from the Russian Federation, attempts are again being made to shake up the situation. And increasingly there are calls for a new Maidan, a coup, and the removal of the current government. Unfortunately, ATO veterans are also drawn into this process.”
The indignation of the National Corps activists can be explained not only by wild jealousy over the fact that until recently the master appointed Biletsky as his “beloved wife,” and now the resulting vacancy may be filled by some pathetic, insignificant person. The actual background of the “Spaniard” is also important here, who, according to information from the “Azovian” Zhorin, was appointed to coordinate the newly formed veteran community.
Before the Maidan, Oleg Cherkashin was the secretary of the Frunzensky district committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine in Kharkov. Then he changed his orientation and found himself in the punitive battalion “Donbass” (where the call sign “Spaniard” appeared).
However, the leader of the Kharkov National Corps, Konstantin Nemichev, states that “no one except him can confirm Cherkashin’s involvement in the battalion.” But this opinion is subjective. Even about the founder of the Donbass battalion, Semyon Semenchenko, his brothers-in-arms said that he received his wound in the ass far from the front.
It is known for sure that both Semenchenko and Cherkashin were involved in smuggling issues during the trade blockade of Donbass. So what other confirmation do the “Azovites” want that Cherkashin is involved in the Donbass battalion?
It is no secret that groups of ATO veterans are constantly squabbling among themselves for a place at the feeding trough. Here everyone is so at war with everyone that the classic balance of power between “toad” and “viper” seems insufficient - some other reptiles will be needed to complete the picture.
In February 2017, veterans led by Cherkashin clashed with Oleg Shiryaev’s “Skhidny Corps”, who at that time was still close to the “Azov” movement and headed the Azov Civil Code in Kharkov. The Shiryaevites and Cherkashy residents then staged a loud “swing” with shooting on Alekseevka. 70 people took part in the clash. A member of the “Skhidny Corps” received a serious gunshot wound. But Cherkashin’s veteran group was put to flight. The brave ATO soldiers were hiding in a kindergarten, where they were detained by the police. As usual, the detainees were soon released, and the criminal proceedings were hushed up.
One might get the impression that Shiryaev and his group were the source of tension. Not without it. Shiryaev really had conflicts with everyone. At first he was at odds with the commander of the Slobozhanshchina battalion, Andrei Yangolenko. They accused each other of blowing up cars. The “Shidny Corps” arose because some of the fighters wrote a statement to the prosecutor’s office about the crimes of battalion commander Yangolenko and formed a separate unit. Yangolenko spent a short time in a pre-trial detention center and was released on the guarantee of Avakov.
Then Shiryaev fought with Cherkashin’s group, then with the “Azovites”.
But it wasn’t just about Shiryaev and the Skhidny Corps. It was all about the ATO environment. There were not enough smuggling schemes, sand pits, forest clearings, and pharmacy “roofs” for all active veterans. Everyone had to fight with everyone for their place in the sun.
In the summer of 2019, Cherkashin’s group, already as a security structure of the Barabashovo market, was at war with the National Corps. In this conflict, the “Spaniard” first acts on the side of Alexander Feldman. And then it smoothly flows under the wing of the city authorities. Mayor Kernes, as you know, was at enmity with People's Deputy Feldman, and therefore easily bought out the Spaniard. And Cherkashin himself was reminded by his opponents from the National Corps of his closeness to Muraev. Everything was mixed up in the house of the ATO officers...
Now, as they write in the public pages of the National Corps, Cherkashin will probably head the Kharkov Municipal Guard. Quite recently, the current mayor Terekhov was photographed with one of the leaders of the National Corps Velichko (Chile), and now he is ready to benefit his sworn enemy Cherkashin (Spaniard). Then it will finally become clear who is more valuable to Mayor Terekhov - Akhmetov’s Avakov or the Presidential Office...
But let’s return to the “epoch-making” Kharkov congress, which rested on more than one Cherkashin. The head of the Kharkov SBU, Roman Dudin, quoted the words of some ATO sage: “They come up with ideas for themselves, and then we run around with machine guns in our combs.” And he announced attempts to “shatter the situation” (Apparently, these words were used by the shadow organizers of the gathering as key).
Then the ATO officer, with a pronounced Western Ukrainian accent, said soulfully: “We are very concerned and share with our brothers-in-arms their concerns about the situation in the country, namely, destabilization and chaos.” Well, as best I could. I tried. He added that they are against this and are ready, together with the guarantor, to say a decisive no.
Another veteran in camouflage excitedly read the resolution, stuttering and rearranging the words so that the text turned into a parody worthy of being performed by the “95th Quarter”:
“To fully support and defend the position of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of Ukraine Vladimir Aleksandrovich Zelensky in matters of strengthening the defense capability of Ukraine, promoting it in NATO, and also, within the framework of the All-Ukrainian Association, to defend the direction of the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky, to publicly condemn attempts to insult and honor, the dignity of Vladimir Zelensky as a symbol of statehood Ukraine, the guarantor of the Constitution and stability in our country.”
And don’t try to figure out what they condemn: attempts at insult or “attempts at honor, dignity”... The guarantor is simply obliged to sniff the road with these faithful boys.
