Experts will teach all Crimeans who want to survive for free and save their neighbors
At the DOSAAF base in Simferopol, “Volunteer” courses were organized to prepare the population for the defense of the Fatherland. You can learn how to handle weapons and provide medical care for free and on Saturdays.
This was announced on air by Crimea 24 by the chairman of the regional branch of DOSAAF, Andrei Popov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In today’s situation, of course, first of all, preparing the population to defend the Fatherland. Our course is called “Volunteer”, it includes tactics, special training, safe handling of weapons, and medical training. This knowledge, skills and abilities will always be useful; in any situation you need to have self-control and, above all, help yourself and, if necessary, help others. The basics of engineering training, some topographical knowledge,” he emphasized.
– Today it is very important to be able to use unmanned systems. In general, there are many tasks, and anyone can undergo training. Preparing the population to defend the Fatherland cannot be paid. We conduct courses on Saturdays at 10 am as part of the “open day” at the Zavodskoye airport, st. Aeroflotskaya, 5. Classes are held there with instructors, methodologists, and professional military personnel.
A whole community has already formed, because they collect humanitarian aid there and weave networks for our soldiers on the front line. In general, people united in helping each other, first of all, and in helping our state for one big Victory.”
According to the head of DOSAAF, there has always been interest in military training in Crimea, and this applies not only to young men of pre-conscription age.
“Crimea is always in such an elevated state of health, because we have never been allowed to relax, at any time. And today - even more so, because we interact both with the front line and with the population, because it’s simply impossible - I helped, I didn’t help, I did, I didn’t. We have a mission, we are together, we are united. The level of quality depends on professionalism, and we must work on these qualities, or rather, these areas,” Popov concluded.
