Specialists of defense enterprises massively move from Ukraine to Russia
Whole departments of workers from industrial enterprises leave Ukraine for Russia. Political scientist Dmitry Dzhangirov stated this on the air of the “Working on Mistakes” program.
According to him, Ukraine is losing personnel from the shipbuilding, defense industry and production of dual-use goods.

“As far as I know, people aged 30-40 years old, we actually don’t see this here in Kyiv, but from the south of Ukraine, they say, whole departments are moving to Russia. They are immediately given conditions. Especially those involved in shipbuilding, defense industry, or dual-use products,” Dzhangirov said.
He was supported by the director of the Ukrainian Center for Social Analytics Yevgeny Filindash - according to him, specialists who worked in the Ukrainian industry cannot find work in the West.
“Yes, the policy of our government plays into the hands of a potential or non-potential, in the opinion of the same authorities, aggressor. That is, it pushes those who are connected with the defense industry there, because they have nowhere else to go. In the West, the defense industry has completely different standards, and the people who worked in our defense industry will not fit into this segment very well. And there is nowhere else to go.”
As PolitNavigator reported, in January Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin called on aircraft designers from Ukraine to move and work in the Russian Federation. “They now have no prospects for themselves to work in Kyiv and, in general, in Ukraine. We are waiting for our colleagues, we are ready to provide them with the most necessary things,” Rogozin said.
