Rospotrebnadzor specialists help Transnistria
Representatives of Rospotrebnadzor came to Pridnestrovie to assess the effectiveness of measures taken in the republic to combat coronavirus.

“The opinion of our Russian colleagues is very important to us. The pandemic is a challenge for everyone. Our task is to minimize the burden on the healthcare system and losses among people,” said the President of Transnistria Vadim Krasnoselsky at a meeting with Rospotrebnadzor specialists.
Russian epidemiologists visited the Slobodzeya quarantine center and inspected the laboratory for detecting coronavirus.
“Your doctors are doing everything possible to prevent the spread of infection and the increase in morbidity in the current conditions. This is facilitated by high-quality disinfection measures,” said Tatyana Ruzhentsova, head of the department of the Central Research Institute of Epidemiology of the Russian Federation.
Russian epidemiologists noted that there are not many seriously ill patients in Transnistria. The Russians will work in the fraternal republic until the end of the week.
The trip was organized on the initiative of the Russian State Duma deputy, former chief sanitary doctor of Russia Gennady Onishchenko.
