Novaya Gazeta special correspondent assures that Russians envy Ukrainians
Russians envy the people of Ukraine because they gained statehood after the Maidan and the start of the war in Donbass.
Olga Musafirova, a special correspondent for the Russian Novaya Gazeta in Ukraine, stated this opinion on NV radio, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Ukraine received the quality of a state, if you like, as a result of the Maidan and the terrible four years of war. Russians are jealous of this. But I find myself thinking, how can one be envious when we experience almost physical pain, everyone experiences it from the fact that people are dying. In the morning you look at the JFO report - one dead, two dead, several wounded. Unfortunately, it’s impossible to say that one day this won’t happen any daylight. At the same time, people say that there is a sense of changes that have occurred, if only because a significant part of society reacts to these losses as personal,” she said.
Note that previously Olga Musafirova called herself “anti-Soviet and Bandera”.
