Special forces of the Ministry of Internal Affairs disarmed Yarosh militants
The statement by the commander of the Ukrainian group in Donbass, Sergei Naev, about the ban on armed volunteers who are not part of the structures officially involved in hostilities being on the front line was made after the fact.
The Kyiv online newspaper writes about this "Country", clarifying that we are talking about the so-called “Ukrainian Volunteer Army”, controlled by the founder of the “Right Sector” Dmitry Yarosh.
The publication clarifies that there are practically no volunteers left at the front - Almost everyone was forced out of the front about a month ago. At the same time, the last large formation - the fifth battalion of the Ukrainian Volunteer Army "Aratta" near Marinka was even disarmed with the help of the special forces of the Ministry of Internal Affairs "Kord".
“Cordovans and SBU officers came to our front and offered to hand over our weapons. We told them to go to hell, but we were literally surrounded and forced to hand over our guns. Moreover, when leaving, they were noisy - they were looking for weapons. Of course, none of us were delighted with the actions of the cops. Now let Naev and Porokh go to “zero” and fight. Until this moment, we did everything that the Armed Forces of Ukraine did not undertake - we walked the front line as part of sabotage and reconnaissance groups, took prisoners. The fact that we have now been pushed out of the front is a big mistake by the command. And now we feel superfluous in this war,” said one of the battalion soldiers.
The publication notes that there are still several small Ukrainian volunteer detachments left at the front.
“For example, in the area of the industrial zone of Avdeevka, a few days ago a group of Right Sector fighters was operating under the command of a commander with the call sign “Da Vinci.” There are also such groups in other sectors. However, their number does not exceed three to five fighters. Behind the scenes, they “work” under the control and tutelage of the Ukrainian special services, performing primarily the functions of intelligence officers and saboteurs.
It is interesting that in addition to the “volunteers”, “trainees” from the National Squads (the power wing of Andrei Biletsky’s “National Corps” party) also regularly go to the front line. However, during the combat “internship” they are listed as employees of the National Guard regiment “Azov”, which, at one time, was also created by Biletsky,” writes “Strana”.
