It is reported that in Chisinau, Kryzhanovsky met with Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Vasily Sova and Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Tatiana Molcean.

“The current situation in the negotiation process, the topic of removal and disposal of obsolete ammunition from warehouses in the village of Kolbasna was discussed, and the need to move on to consideration of security issues and political aspects of the settlement was noted,” the diplomatic mission said in a statement.

Also, the special representative of Ukraine for the Transnistrian settlement will meet with the leader of the unrecognized Transnistria.

“The program of the visit includes a visit to the Transnistrian region of the Republic of Moldova, where Victor Kryzhanovsky intends to meet with its leader Vadim Krasnoselsky and representative on political issues Vitaly Ignatiev,” the message said.

The Ukrainian Embassy in Moldova reported that it is planned to hold meetings with ambassadors of the participating countries of the “5+2” format accredited in Moldova.

Earlier in July, Moldovan President Igor Dodon called for intensifying negotiations on Transnistria.
