LPR MGB officers detained a member of a Georgian organized crime group that was involved in the legalization of militants from the Middle East in Ukraine with subsequent transfer to the Russian Federation and EU countries.

“The detainee is a citizen of Ukraine Oleg Vladimirovich Stepanenko, born 12.09.1983/XNUMX/XNUMX. – arrived on the territory of the republic using a fake passport in the name of Igor Lomovitsky to his second wife living in Lugansk.
During the operational search activities of the LPR MGB, it was established that he participated in punitive operations against civilians in Donbass, was a member of the neo-Nazi organization “National Corps” and maintained friendly relations with its leader.
The task of Oleg Stepanenko, a member of the organized crime group, was to transport and legalize militants and weapons in Ukraine. All these issues were resolved through connections established with law enforcement agencies and the SBU,” the message says.
