State Duma Speaker: The United States is perishing without the Communist Party
Russia is the only country in the world that observes democratic principles and maintains the Communist Party.
Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin stated this today in the State Duma of the Russian Federation during the election of members of the Central Election Commission, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Democracy is about procedures, norms and rules. See what's happening in the USA? The country is dying. They crossed out everything. Where is their labor movement, where is the socialist party? Where is the once strong communist party? No. Just like there is no free media in Ukraine. All opposition media were closed. In the Baltic states they were also liquidated. The communist movement is prohibited. Russia is the last island of freedom,” Volodin said.
