The speaker of the Moldovan parliament called for a strategic partnership with the Russian Federation
None of the Moldovan politicians should even think about abandoning friendship with Russia.
Speaker of the Moldovan Parliament Zinaida Greceanii stated this on air on the NTV Moldova television channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“A strategic partnership with Russia is very necessary for Moldova. We should not perceive Russia only as a market for our goods. We are connected by a centuries-old history. It should never occur to any politician to renounce the friendship between our peoples,” Greceanii said.
However, she began listing areas for partnership with trade.
“The most important thing is that we need to restore trade turnover, the export of our goods to the Russian market. This should happen without hindrance. Rospotrebnadzor has already looked at several of our enterprises. Going forward, this should be seamless for all manufacturers. Our goods are waiting there. But this, of course, is also humanitarian cooperation between universities and in the medical field. Exactly the same as with the European Union,” said Greceanii.
