The President of the National Assembly of Serbia, Ivica Dacic, stated that activity The “government” of Kosovo, which sent “special forces of the Ministry of Internal Affairs” to the northern Serbian enclaves, is a carefully thought-out provocation.

They want to present the international community with a fait accompli. They have done this before, and tolerance of such situations leads to what is happening now in Yarinya.
Dacic recalled that the topic of creating a Commonwealth of Serbian Municipalities and control over the north of Kosovo was very relevant in October 2012 before the negotiations in Brussels.
“Thachi and I signed an agreement then, and its essence was the formation of the Commonwealth of Serbian Municipalities, which has not been realized to this day. A series of events that occurred after showed that the international community was tolerant of such things: the introduction of XNUMX% tariffs by Pristina, the creation of the so-called “Kosovo armed forces”, petitions for admission [of Kosovo] to UNESCO and other international organizations, trials of Serbs throughout the region ... This is the essence of the occupation of northern Kosmet. This Kurti is acting as if nothing happened, I just don’t know if he’s crazy or if he’s doing this with someone’s approval. But they clearly don’t want to come to an agreement,” noted the Chairman of the People’s Assembly.
