“An association of free countries that successfully resisted the most terrible evil empire - the Soviet Union. And today for Ukraine, which has been defending its borders from Putin’s horde for three years now, the best way to achieve strategic security is a reliable NATO shield. Our task is to make every effort so that as soon as possible we join the free peoples united in the North Atlantic Alliance. I believe that very soon we will celebrate this day together as a full member of NATO. Let’s congratulate our reliable friends and partners on the day of the creation of NATO,” Parubiy said.
