The speaker with the certificate lost the case to Putin's godfather
On November 7, 2016, the Pechersky District Court of Kiev satisfied the claim of Viktor Medvedchuk for the protection of honor and dignity, the defendants of which were the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine and its former secretary Andrei Parubiy, the press service of “Ukrainian Choice” reports.

“The court found the information disseminated by Andrey Parubiy on July 4, 2014 at the NSDC briefing at the National News Agency Ukrinform unreliable and degrading the honor and dignity of Viktor Medvedchuk about Viktor Medvedchuk’s alleged involvement in events in the East of Ukraine,” the report notes. – In particular, we were talking about the following statements: “Medvedchuk... is the criminal who over the past years has participated as much as possible in ensuring that this situation was created”; “...financing of these (extremist) groups was carried out through Medvedchuk.”
Immediately after the briefing, Medvedchuk filed a lawsuit against Parubiy and the National Security and Defense Council, and on August 15 of the same year, the court of first instance satisfied the legal demands of the leader of the “Ukrainian Choice - People’s Rights.” However, this court decision was revised for procedural reasons, which did not call into question the unreliability of the information disseminated by A. Parubiy. At the same time, using procedural tricks, Parubiy’s representatives delayed the hearing of the case as much as possible, did not appear at court hearings, but were unable to provide any evidence confirming A. Parubiy’s statements.”
By a court decision, the former secretary of the National Security and Defense Council and the current speaker of the Verkhovna Rada is obliged to hold a briefing in Ukrinform and refute false information about Medvedchuk.
