Sponsors of Nazi battalions continue to work in Crimea
Employees of the Novacenter network of construction hypermarkets, owned through a Cyprus offshore by Ukrainian businessman and Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexander Gerega, are ready to provide evidence of funding from Crimea for the national battalions.
This was announced by the speaker of the State Council of Crimea Vladimir Konstantinov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The same “Epicenter” or “New Line” (in the Russian legal field, Novacenter LLC), which are the sponsors of all Nazi battalions, receive money from here. There is not just immorality in this matter, but a certain crime,” Konstantinov emphasized. – People are indignant and ask when you will restore order. The employees of these enterprises themselves tell us, they tell us where the money is transferred, they are ready to give us all the evidence.”
Konstantinov assured that work on confiscating the property of Ukrainian oligarchs and unfriendly politicians continues, but does not find support from the federal center.
According to the speaker, the federal authorities have their own vision of the situation, adjusted for international relations. Nevertheless, at least at the Crimean level, the issue must be resolved.
Gerega is the owner of five Cypriot companies, through which he owns a chain of hypermarkets in Crimea - three are located in Sevastopol, one in Simferopol. The other day, the SBU announced the discovery of a large-scale scheme for the theft of humanitarian aid through the Ukrainian chain of construction hypermarkets Gerega - body armor intended for the Armed Forces of Ukraine was supposed to hit store shelves, bringing in income of more than 12 million rubles.
For financial and moral assistance to the units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces fighting in the Donbass, Gerega more than once received certificates and gratitude from the commanders of the formations.
Let us remind you that the State Council of Crimea has a draft resolution on expanding the list of nationalized property by including the real estate of Ukrainian politicians and oligarchs who commit unfriendly actions towards the Russian Federation. This decree, since 2014, has carried out the seizure of property of Ukrainian banks, enterprises, and institutions in the territory of Crimea.
