Donetsk, March 07 (PolitNavigator, Mikael Chagalyan) – In Donetsk, at the Shakhtar Plaza hotel on March 8, an unusual event is “Flower of the Republic”. But this was not a floral exhibition, but almost a beauty contest.

But unlike similar competitions held in the past, this one did not award crowns with diamonds and did not select winners. This time, at this unique beauty contest, the female beauty and charm of Donetsk militia girls were shown.
They all represented different military units – “Oplot”, “Vostok”, “Berkut” and others.
The organizers came up with a very bright entertainment program with the participation of the best dance groups and singers of Donetsk and created a really warm, festive atmosphere.
At the very beginning of the event, the presenters invited to the stage the vice-speaker of the People's Council of the DPR Denis Pushilin and the deputy of the DPR Alexander Karaman, who congratulated the Donetsk women on the holiday. And then the action itself began.
The most unusual thing here was the presentation of each girl by the presenters. Before entering the podium, an individual video of the contestants was shown on the projector screen, where you could see them both in full combat uniform and in their home environment.
It is noteworthy that all the participants had higher education, and most of them held senior positions in commercial and government agencies before the war. However, true to their principles, they abandoned everything and, taking up arms, fought on the front line along with men.
But today, when they took off their “camouflage” and appeared before the public in evening dresses, it became obvious to everyone present: the women in the DPR are the most beautiful, charming and very militant.
