Demand for LDPR passports has grown tenfold, – Zakharchenko
After Vladimir Putin's decree on the recognition of documents of the Donbass republics in Russia, the demand for passports of the Donetsk Republic has increased tenfold, head of the DPR Alexander Zakharchenko said at a press conference.

“The situation with passports is critical. The number of applications has increased tenfold. If before recognition the number of applications per day was ten plus or minus, now it is one hundred and eighty. The issue of additional capacity is now being considered to provide everyone with documents. This issue will be resolved in the near future (a week or two), he said, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Answering the question whether recognition of LDPR documents by Russia would provoke an outflow of citizens of the republics, Zakharchenko said:
“Those who wanted to leave have already left. “I want to go into exile and prison, but in July and in the Crimea” - this is a proverb from 14,” recalled the head of the warring republic.
