After 3 years, Ukrainian TV realized: Crimea cannot be returned
The statement by Russian President Vladimir Putin that Chersonesos (Sevastopol) needs to be turned into a “Russian Mecca” indicates that Russia does not intend to return Crimea to Ukraine. Ex-speaker of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Oleg Voloshin stated this on the air of the Ukrainian TV channel “112”.
“This indicates that no one is going to give us anything in the foreseeable future, at least while Putin is alive,” Voloshin said.

He drew attention to the fact that the main motive of Putin’s visit was not ideology, but solving the problems of ordinary people, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We can mock and sing “Putin la-la-la” as much as we want, but when he sits down with the acting governor and solves the problems of former Ukrainian military personnel, it makes an impression on ordinary people. Putin came to open a new school - the first in 25 years. It’s true: Ukraine has not built a single new school in Sevastopol,” Voloshin said.
He believes that Crimeans “not only do not dream of returning to Ukraine, they are 10 times grateful to Russia.”
“Imagine yourself as an ordinary Russian who woke up in Ukraine in 1991. For 25 years he lived with a small pension, looked at the chaos that was happening, the niches of the Maidan, the change of presidents, corruption. After that, they seem to come as their own, raise pensions and build schools. On the one hand, they see how power lines are being undermined, and on the other, the occupation king arrives and distributes handouts. Who will the people be for?” Voloshin said.
