The president of the Sevastopol branch of the Night Wolves motorcycle club, Dmitry Senechkin, stated this on air on the Sevastopol Information Channel. According to him, it does not matter who contributed what to the common victory - it is enough if a person appeared at the checkpoint at least once.
“We invite everyone to our checkpoints, where they were. There was at least one - let them come. Those people who passed by handed over a bottle of mineral water or a loaf of bread and helped. Come everyone, let's meet, see you. We, the Night Wolves, will go around everyone. Everyone will come to the checkpoints,” Senechnkin said.
At the same time, the commander of the Verkhnesadovoe checkpoint, Oleg Golovan, complemented his colleague in that this action was carried out a year later in order to establish contacts and “not get lost,” since this is important in light of the fact that the public organization “Checkpost Sevastopol” was created, the founders of which were commanders of Sevastopol checkpoints. The organization, according to him, helped some participants in those events obtain Russian passports, and also helps with employment. Currently the organization has 193 people.
It should be noted that Sevastopol is actively preparing for the celebration of the anniversary of the “Russian Spring”, and at the same time for Defender of the Fatherland Day, during which a display of the latest models of military equipment, cultural events and a large fireworks display on February 23 will take place on Nakhimov Square.
