Three ATO militants were blown up by their own mortar
Two Ukrainian soldiers were killed and another was wounded during an attempt to shell the territory of the Lugansk People's Republic. This was announced by the official representative of the People's Militia of the LPR, Lieutenant Colonel Andrei Marochko.

“Yesterday, as a result of a mine explosion in the barrel of a mortar at the positions of the 1st battalion of the 24th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of the settlement of Novozvanovka during criminal shelling of the territories of our Republic, two Ukrainian servicemen were killed, another was seriously injured,” he said.
“This incident is carefully hidden from the higher command,” noted a representative of the LPR defense department.
As Andrei Vysotsky (call sign “Buratino”), commander of the LPR reserve battery, commented to PolitNavigator: “Most likely, this is a regular “double loading.” It can happen in the heat of battle, when the battery fired a salvo, and you did not hear whether your mortar had worked. But usually this is the result of negligence, violation of discipline that occurs against the background of alcohol and drug intoxication. In general, such things happen to them regularly, especially since the vaunted “hammers” made in Ukraine got into the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.”
