SBU investigators established that the major, having access to information about the progress of the ATO in eastern Ukraine, contributed to the activities of the DPR.
In particular, he provided the DPR with information about locations, movement routes and destinations of individual units of the ATO forces, the location of combat aircraft, their tactical and technical characteristics and sets of ammunition at one of the airfields in the Donetsk region, as well as flight routes of senior state officials .
During the search, electronic devices were seized from the serviceman, with the help of which he transmitted information using software for encrypted data exchange.
The investigating judge of the Shevchenkovsky District Court of Kyiv chose a preventive measure in the form of detention in relation to the major.
