According to media reports, self-defense fighters intercepted Panchenko near the regional state administration, where he was going to get letters, and where they have a checkpoint, fortified with sandbags, on the site near the entrance.
Self-defense organized an “interrogation” of Panchenko, during which he remained with the St. George ribbon. Then, accusing the chieftain of “separatism and cruel treatment of the inhabitants of the East,” the activists stuffed him into a garbage container, despite resistance, and doused him with iodine.
As PolitNavigator reported, the day before in Ternopil, Right Sector activists stuffed an official into a garbage container, after forcing him to write a letter of resignation of his own free will. And on September 16, Verkhovna Rada deputy Vitaly Zhuravsky was loaded into a container under the walls of parliament.
