“Due to the shock depreciation of the hryvnia and negative trends in the economy, the average person’s income in foreign currency equivalent today is $120 per month. Tell me, how can we overcome corruption in a country in which the average income after taxes is $120 a month, and how can a person live on this money?” - he said.

According to Galasyuk, “Ukrainians spend almost 40 percent of their income on food, while Europeans spend only 13 percent.”

“Moreover, dear colleagues, please note that energy prices in Ukraine are European, prices for materials in Ukraine are European, prices for equipment are European. What is not European about us? Salary,” the deputy clarified.
