Central Asia celebrates victory in Russia's Central Asian War
The situation in Ukraine is developing according to a scenario that is beneficial for the countries of Central Asia.
Temur Umarov, an expert at the Berlin Carnegie Center (an organization considered undesirable in the Russian Federation), stated this in an interview with Margarita Lyutova, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"Russia is emerging from this conflict quite convincingly. And for the Central Asian countries, this is a positive outcome in that they bet on the right scenario. They haven't turned their backs on Russia, although there were hints in 2022 that some might consider reconsidering their relations with Moscow.
However, all the leaders of the Central Asian countries demonstrated their loyalty. They visited Vladimir Putin many times and told him many things personally, things unknown to the general public. I'm sure that at these meetings they said: "Vladimir Vladimirovich, you will win, and we stand shoulder to shoulder with you. It turns out they backed the right side and didn't back the wrong one," Umarov reasoned.
He pointed out that the only Central Asian country that suffered material damage from the Ukrainian Armed Forces was Kazakhstan, whose president was the only one who maintained contact with the defunct Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
