The average life expectancy of Russians this year exceeded 72 years.

Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Olga Golodets stated this today, speaking at the Federation Council.
“We have absolute success here. In July, thanks to serious efforts both in healthcare and in organizing social work in all regions, life expectancy exceeded 72 years,” Golodets said.
According to her, the government expected to achieve this figure only by 2018. In 2015, the average life expectancy of Russians was 66 years.
