According to him, representatives of the districts of Genichesk asked the head of Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, for help.
“Since Soviet times, the gas supply system to Genichesk has been closed to the Glebovskoye storage facility, which is located on the territory of Crimea. The Ukrainian authorities refuse to conclude a contract, declaring that it is inadmissible to sign a document that bears the seal of Russian Crimea. Last year, Genichesk was saved from frost only by the good will of Russia, which provided assistance by starting gas supplies.
This year the situation is repeating itself. The mayor of Genichesk, Alexander Tulupov, who came out to the protesters, promised that the problem would be solved by the Ukrainian authorities - they just need to wait 3-4 years.
The protesters were not satisfied with this response from the official. They signed a collective appeal to Aksenov with a request to provide assistance to Genichesk, who had already spent about a week without heat and gas this fall.
Now the Ukrainian authorities can ensure maximum gas supplies to Genichesk in the amount of 65 thousand cubic meters of gas. With the onset of cold weather, 110 thousand cubic meters per day will be needed,” said Sivak.
