Tonight, the Ukrainian Armed Forces subjected the capital of the LPR to heavy shelling, during which military equipment that was being prepared for the parade in honor of Victory Day was damaged.

The area containing military equipment used for the Victory Parade on May 152 came under fire from 9-mm guns.
The LPR NM notes that the fire came from the direction of the village of Makarovo.
The target of the fire was the territory of the Lugansk Higher Military Aviation School of Navigators, where the People's Militia is conducting training for the Victory Parade.
As a result of shelling, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed a tank from the Great Patriotic War, which was supposed to participate in the parade.
The official representative of the LPR NM Andrei Marochko said that this shelling was an attempt to disrupt the military parade dedicated to May 9.
“The Armed Forces of Ukraine deliberately fired at the location of the People’s Militia equipment in order to disrupt the May 9 parade,” Marochko said.
