The former head of the People's Council of the LPR, Alexey Karyakin, said this in a comment to PolitNavigator.
“No matter how much the Ukrainian elite rejoices at the latest events that are taking place in America under the leadership of Trump, he perfectly understands that Ukraine is a kind of “black hole” in which crazy amounts of money are wasted, and no matter how much you throw in there, everything will be in the furnace. The United States has its own internal problems, which also require serious financial expenditures. Since the sanctions imposed against Russia boomeranged on the United States, a regime of economy is being introduced in these things as well. But the main reason is that Ukraine is no longer perceived as a sensible partner,” Karjakin said.
